Tamara (@tamarasimonne) was born in La Paz, Bolivia and commenced her dance training at age three in Cartagena, Colombia. She continued her training in Argentina at Estudio Bellart. When returning to her hometown at age twelve, she began working under the direction of Noreen Guzman de Rojas, founder of ArteMóvida. After graduating high school, Tamara was then accepted in the Steps Conservatory Program with a focus on Ballet and Contemporary. During her time in the program she took part in classes including Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Ballet, Partnering, Horton, Hip Hop, Limon + Graham Technique, Acting and Vocal. She also had the opportunity to learn from some of New York's leading choreographers and teachers including Max Stone, Marijke Eliasberg, Oliver Steele, Chet Walker, Dana Moore, Debbie Roshe, Bill Hastings, James Kinney, Kim Able and Elena Kunikova just to name a few.
